Dr. Sarah Nolan
Dr. Sarah Nolan is a native of Saratoga Springs, NY. Since an early age, spending time on her grandfather's dairy farm, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and never waivered from that dream. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John Fisher College in 2000. She then went on to study veterinary medicine at St. Georges University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at the University of Georgia. She earned Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and has been practicing small animal medicine for the past eight years in the Capital District. She is a member of the AVMA. Dr. Nolan is dedicated to offering superior care to all her patients.
Dr. Nolan and her husband share a home with Sammie an Amazon parrot, two cats named Olivia (Lulu) and Isabella and two dogs, Madison, and Millie a special needs dog she adopted after she became paralyzed after falling out a window as a puppy.
Her outside interests include running, soccer, skiing, reading, crafting and spending time with her family and furry friends.
Christine Allen-Valenzuela, LVT
Christine grew up in Colonie, NY. She has been a veterinary assistant for over 10 years and earned her LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) in November, 2014. Before going to technician school, Christine received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in a different field, soon realizing that animals are her passion! She and Dr. Nolan have had a long working relationship and friendship and looks forward to working together again on the road!
Christine lives in Rotterdam with her husband and young daughter, their 2 cats, Nermal and Chunk and a rescue dog named Chip.
She is an avid bowler, and also loves travelling with her family. When not working, she is enjoying being a mom and spending time with her family!
